Stephen Curry’s injury has completely rattled the Golden State Warriors. The team has endured weeks of uncertainty since Curry exited the lineup, but now, things are changing. According to head coach Steve Kerr, the superstar is making real signs of progress, but other problems continue to build. Here’s the big picture for Kerr and the Dubs.

“Feels good to see him with the team, you know, whether it’s in the locker room, on the floor,” Kerr told reporters before the team’s game against the Boston Celtics tonight. “I guess we’ll have an update… Because I know that’s the next question. Next update Saturday. But yeah, it’s great to have him on the trip.”

Kerr even teased that he might have already had more contact-heavy drills on court, though he didn’t confirm or deny anything. Curry was spotted before tonight’s game shooting with assistant coach Bruce Fraser, putting up shots and warming up with the team.

ESPN reported earlier today that the swelling in Curry’s knee has lowered significantly, and that he received a platelet-rich plasma injection to help accelerate his healing. The earliest he could likely return is on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.

For now, Curry has already been ruled out of the team’s game against the Detroit Pistons on Friday. Since he went out of the lineup, the Warriors have won just six of their 19 games. However, problems seem to be complicating for the Dubs,

Moses Moody Setback Keeps Warriors Short-Handed Despite Stephen Curry Progress

Other than addressing the Stephen Curry-shaped hole in the team, Steve Kerr also spoke about injuries to other players. Among them is key perimeter presence Moses Moody, whose return timeline is now facing some delays.

“He’s not as close as we had hoped,” Kerr told reporters when asked about wing’s wrist injury. “He’s still got the brace on and working out on the court, but a lot of left-handed stuff. So, he’s going to need more time. We don’t know exactly when he’ll be available for a game, but not quite ready to go.”

Moody hasn’t played since March 2nd, missing his eighth consecutive game tonight. Kerr previously called Moody the “most consistent” Warrior during a hot stretch in February, and that loss hasn’t made things easier.

Unfortunately, there’s no clear timetable for his return with less than 20 games left in the season. There was originally optimism that Moody could return during the team’s current road trip, but is considered week to week as of now.

All of this showed tonight against the Boston Celtics. The Warriors were completely outmatched against a star duo, with the only player even remotely close to that level being Kristaps Porzingis being able to show up.
