Angel Reese isn’t just a basketball player; she is now a brand and a global ambassador for the sport, and that is evident in how she shines across every platform she is a part of. Ever since her association with Victoria’s Secret, she has been making waves, drawing reactions from a collegiate star and her new WNBA team.
“First WNBA player to star in a @victoriassecret campaign and my first season in the ATL. Let the Summer of Angel officially begin,” posted WNBA’s beloved Barbie on Instagram, setting social media on fire with her ravishing looks, and fans just couldn’t handle the heat.

“wowooowowowowowowwwww,” said TCU’s Olivia Miles at a loss for words at how Reese is positioning herself as one of the athletes who can do it both on and off the court.
Miles’ reaction was understandable, apparently Angel is quite fond of Olivia and even advocated for her former team Chicago Sky, to pick her from the drafts so this was always expected. Chicago’s need for a guard had made Angel truly invested in Miles’ future draft acquisition.
Although Miles wasn’t the only one blown away, the Atlanta Dream also shared their excitement.
“Y’all heard Angel. The summer starts NOW,” came the response from Atlanta Dream, who looked ecstatic at how Angel was soaring to new heights with this collaboration. Angel Reese was traded to the Dream from the Chicago Sky recently and is excited to play for them in the upcoming season.
Reese isn’t the only player to have worked as a model; there are quite a few like Cameron Brink (Lon Angeles Sparks) who have appeared in campaigns for SKIMS and PLAYERS magazine, and so has Skylar Diggins Smith, who also has associated herself with the same brand along with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues.
Maryland’s fashion icon went all out for her first Victoria’s Secret campaign. Dressed in a brown bikini with a bronzed aesthetic, Reese paired a bold neckline with the Victoria’s label etched across the straps and waistline. Set against an endless ocean backdrop, the look felt like a statement swapping minimalism for a more elevated, high-fashion edge.
This particular launch included Victoria’s Secret’s new swimwear, and the Bombshell Bronze Eau de Parfum was shot in Barbados, emphasizing bold, athletic femininity.
While Angel is busy raising temperatures in Barbados, her professional career will also take her to new, uncharted territory where she hasn’t been before. As Atlanta welcomes her, how will she help them to achieve their Dream?
Angel’s Initiation In The ‘Dream Team’
Atlanta should get ready to welcome basketball’s most exciting and controversial star, Anngel Reese. Reese, who is known for her flair on the paint, is also known for being erratic with her shooting, but even then, there’s simply no match for her when it comes to collecting rebounds and attacking the rim.
Atlanta’s 30-14 record highlighted its inconsistency, much of which stemmed from a glaring weakness in rebounding. That’s precisely the issue Angel Reese is equipped to solve. The forward has led the WNBA in rebounding for two straight seasons with an average of 12.8 per game.
With her introduction, Atlanta is hoping to infuse a breath of fresh air that will look to revitalize the team after how. Last year’s 30-14 record might have been an improvement over its 15-25 record, but still, that doesn’t cut it if they hope to hang in with the best.
The tall and athletic Reese can prove to be lethal if Karl Smesko can utilize her effectively. Build her chemistry in the shootouts with Dream players like Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, and you have a deadly trio in your roster.
Gray’s and Howard’s perimeter shooting couple with Reese’s ability to hold her own at the center, will make the Dream a threat in every manner. Reese knows now that just like her modeling assignments, her performance on the court will also be scrutinized more so after Sky chose to part ways with her.
This will serve as enough motivation for her to come out at her best with a point to prove. Fans still haven’t forgotten how Reese excelled under pressure when she faced off against Caitlin Clark’s Hawkeyes in the legendary NCAA finals in 2023, and this situation is no different.
