Conor Benn is set to face former two-time world champion Regis Prograis in the co-main event of Tyson Fury’s return opposite Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11. The 150-lbs catchweight bout would mark ‘The Destroyer’s first fight under Zuffa’s astronomical $15 million one-fight deal with Benn. However, before the fight reaches Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Benn’s former promoter, Eddie Hearn, has shared an update that may put the entire clash in jeopardy.

According to Benn’s former promoter, Prograis is badly injured, and he believes the American shouldn’t be in the ring.

“Regis Prograis shouldn’t even be in the ring because he’s that badly injured,” Hearn told IFL TV earlier today. “Everybody knows about Regis Prograis. I’m not gonna discredit Regis Prograis or the fight. Everyone knows the situation.”

This is a developing story…
